La Crosse Community Theatre
July 2021 – Present
• Supervises all production aspects of La Crosse Community Theatre productions
• Recruites, contracts, and supervises all guest artists.
• Coordinates, supservises, and trains paid and volunteer production staff including technical directors, stage managers, props, board operators, and run crew
• Assists Executive Artists Director with creating and managing production budgets
Videographer - Freelance March 2020 – Present
• Films and edits multi-camera events.
• Curates a library of over 900+ original assets for a long term client.
• Creates full motion logos for companies to integrate into their videos using After Effects
• Conceptualizes and designs large choir videos utilizing Adobe Premiere and Adobe Audition.
• Creates 5 special projects a month while maintaining a high volume of regularly produced content.
University of Mary Hardin-Baylor – Sue & Frank Mayborn Performing Arts Center – Director of Operations/Technical Director
July 2017 – July 2020
• Guided the Sue & Frank Mayborn Performing Arts Center through the final phases of construction, supervising the installation of lighting, sound, and stage systems.
• Developed a procedure to successfully record over 50+ community, student, and faculty performances and projects, including the 25th Anniversary recording of the Singing Women of Texas, a choir of over 200 women.
• Modernized the design of all promotional materials for the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
Gallo Center for the Arts – Director of Production
June 2011 – June 2017
• Produced and presented over 300+ events each season, totaling over 2000+ events, covering a wide variety of performing artists including John Legend, Jay Leno, and the MythBusters, leading the Center through multiple financial and attendance record breaking seasons.
• Coordinated with Patty Hill Thomas and Stanislaus County CEO’s office employees on a 3-month restoration effort after an estimated 5000 gallons of water from a malfunctioning ice maker on the second floor caused extensive water. Damages are estimated to have exceeded $1M. Only one rental event had to be moved offsite.
• Broadened the artistic and professional quality of 6 local resident companies including Central West Ballet, YES Company, and Townsend Opera Players by consulting in multiple roles including stage manager, technical director, and lighting designer.
• Spearheaded and budgeted 5 upgrade projects of the lighting, sound, stage, and backstage systems, each involving $100,000+ worth of equipment purchases using capital funds.
Gallo Center for the Arts – Assistant Director of Production
June 2007 – June 2011
• Lead the Gallo Center for the Arts through the final phases of construction, purchasing theatrical equipment not included as part of the Gallo Center’s construction using a $250,000 budget.
• Mentored a rookie stage crew of five full time and 50-100 part time workers that achieved fast and safe load-ins and load-outs for multiple styles of touring acts including Broadway tours, rock and roll concerts, and classically trained performers.
